1937-44 Panzer Colors

A third-generation acrylic paint set containing the six colors essential for painting models of German army vehicles used in Europe from 1937 to 1944.

RAL 7017 Dark Brown and RAL 7021 Dark Grey were the standard camouflage colors for the years 1937-40.

From 1940 onwards, RAL 7021 Dark Grey was used as the sole camouflage color.

In the spring of 1943, a three-color camouflage system was introduced, using RAL 7028 Dark Yellow as the base color and RAL 6003 Olive Green and RAL 8017 Red Brown for interference patterns.

Since the latter two colors were supplied to the troops in the form of dispersion paints, which could be applied either directly from the container or diluted, there were variations in the color appearance.

This fact is taken into account by including two different shades of green in this set.
