The colors in this set were chosen for painting figures wearing tropical uniforms used by the German army in Africa and Sicily during World War II, called the German Africa Corps (DAK).

These uniforms were widely used by German regular soldiers, paratroopers, air force and several other troops.

This set contains the basic colors, shadows, and highlights for two typical uniforms. You can mix these to create different shades, as they can vary depending on the country of origin.
