The Native American tribes were divided and at odds over whether to participate in a war or try to maintain peace.

As with most conflicts that are difficult to understand, old alliances, promises, bribes, and also revenge are the strongest motives for which side one joins.

The majority of Native American tribes chose to fight alongside the British forces, who also paid them well to attack American units and military installations. Armed with muskets and tomahawks, and with their excellent knowledge of the terrain, the Native Americans repeatedly inflicted devastating losses on all warring factions and people before disappearing back into the forests.

The box contains the following plastic miniatures:
