Based on the ubiquitous Universal or Bren Carrier, the WASP was a modified version that carried a flamethrower. Feared by Jerry!

The Wasps were used by the Panzer and Infantry Divisions in numbers of up to 6 in independent machine gun companies, although they normally operated in pairs.
