The Type 87 command vehicle was a light, all-wheel-drive service vehicle developed from the ubiquitous VW Beetle and its amphibious derivative. With enlarged running boards, off-road tires, and a long sunroof, it offered the Wehrmacht an inexpensive, reliable vehicle capable of handling more difficult terrain than its civilian counterparts while still protecting its occupants from the elements.

The VW Beetle staff car is the perfect choice for any German force that needs to transport a small unit or team in style.
