Verdigris Effect Set from AK-Interactive

This kit allows you to recreate verdigris effects and textures on parts and miniatures. Suitable for model making and crafts.
Verdigris is a semi-saturated blue/green patina that forms on copper surfaces or some of its alloys such as bronze or brass.
1. Apply the special acrylic paint (AK11267) with a brush to the part where you want the effect.
2. After drying, apply the oxidizing agent (AK11268)* to the paint.
3. Let it stand for a while to observe the final effect, as oxidation occurs through a natural reaction with the air.
* The oxidizing agent can be diluted with water to achieve more subtle results on your pieces.
Verdigris is a bluish-green effect caused by the oxidation of bronze, copper and their alloys.
You can enhance this effect with other modeling products such as pigments, acrylic paints, enamel effects, etc.
