Their key features speak for themselves: excellent capillarity, enabling the paint to easily spread across the miniature's surface and settle into all the figure's contours and recesses. A single coat can accentuate a miniature's three-dimensionality, smoothing out any raised areas and depressions.

For ideal results, it is recommended to use a white, gray, or generally light-colored base coat. The paint creates highlights on the raised areas, saturated midtones, and intense shadows in the figure's recesses. XPRESS COLOR paints are highly versatile and can be applied over any color in the range. They create subtle shading and contouring effects, and can be used as glazes or filters. Transitions between shades blend seamlessly. All XPRESS COLOR paints can be mixed together or thinned with Xpress Thinner Medium to modify existing shades or create entirely new ones.
