These determined American infantrymen, holding the Allied line in their thick winter clothing, are ready to take on the mighty Wehrmacht in the Ardennes Offensive.

This starter army contains everything you need to assemble a battle-ready US Army force in winter gear for Bolt Action games. At its core is a strong rifle platoon with two full-strength and one sub-average infantry squad, supported by a medic and led by its platoon commander – this flexible formation is perfect for capturing and holding objectives and is the heart of any Bolt Action force.

The Rifle Platoon is supported by a trio of strong support formations. The Heavy Weapons Platoon provides both direct fire with a pair of medium machine guns and high-explosive fire from above with its medium mortar, while the small but powerful artillery platoon provides even more indirect fire with its medium 105mm howitzer.

The force is rounded out by the armored platoon, consisting of the iconic "Easy Eight" variant of the ubiquitous M4 Sherman and the M18 Hellcat tank destroyer. With their powerful anti-tank guns, these two vehicles pose a serious threat to enemy armor and will make any tank commander think twice about a frontal assault!

With these four platoons, you get a great core force that can be deployed immediately on the tabletop and serves as the foundation for a large and diverse collection.
