Bolt Action: T34/76 Soviet Medium Tank

The model variants now commonly referred to as T-34/76 initially saw their primary use as company and platoon command tanks. The T-34/76 was generally equipped with a 76.2 mm gun, making it far better armed than any other tank at the beginning of the 1940s.

The tank was manned by a four-man crew, with the tank commander also acting as gunner, which, however, diminished his overview of the battlefield. Until the introduction of the Panther into the Wehrmacht, the T-34 was at least equal to, if not superior to, German medium tanks.
