Germany's early successes in armored warfare were based on the intelligent use of combined arms: tanks, artillery, infantry, and even aircraft worked together to outmaneuver and overwhelm static and confused enemy forces. It is true that the mighty German war machine marched into battle, but not the Panzergrenadiers!

Mounted on trucks or tanks, or, like our unit here, in powerful armored half-tracks, the Panzergrenadiers cleared the way for the coming main attacks. They stayed close to their support tanks and used their mobility to advance quickly across the battlefield, overwhelming enemy positions or bypassing well-defended ones so the Panzergrenadiers could clear them out.

These Panzergrenadiers are seen in full action, jumping from their Hanomag half-track to continue a close-quarters assault on foot. Panzergrenadiers were also known to fire from their vehicles at a certain speed, although most attacks were conducted on foot, with the vehicle's machine guns adding further fire during the final approach.

Models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.
