Puma Sd.Kfz 234/2 Armored Car

The Puma is arguably one of the most successful armored cars of World War II. A variant of the SdKfz 234, it featured a fully enclosed, rotating turret housing a 5 cm gun and thicker armor than other variants. Despite this additional armor, the Puma was still capable of reaching speeds of up to 90 km/h.

Its use was primarily as a reconnaissance vehicle from 1943 onwards on both fronts. However, its high mobility and correspondingly heavy armament often tempted the crew to intervene directly in the fighting.
