Pro Acryl Glaze & Wash Medium is the perfect way to expand your entire color collection! Simply mix in your favorite color to create glazes, washes, and filters of all kinds. It has a thicker consistency for better control on surfaces but can also be thinned with water to achieve any viscosity. Dries to a matte finish.

When applying glazes, start with 4 parts medium to 1 part paint. Adding more medium further reduces the opacity of the added paint, while reducing the amount reveals more paint on the model.

To begin washing, use the same 4 parts medium and 1 part color, then add the same amount of water as medium so the mixture can flow over the model's surface and settle in crevices, shading and filtering entire surfaces. Reducing the amount of water allows for better control when applying color to smaller areas, while diluting it further will decrease the overall intensity of the coloration.

Glaze & Wash Medium slightly increases the drying time of your color when applying it, so wait until each layer feels dry before applying more color on top.
