Bolt Action: Polish Infantry Squad in greatcoats (10 man)

Despite the double invasion of their homeland by Germany and the Soviet Union in 1939, the vastly outnumbered Polish military fought with bravery and tenacity. The Polish army in 1939 was large, well-equipped, and relatively well-armed. It fought hard, but was completely outmaneuvered by the fast-moving German armored advances, supported by all weapons, in a new, dynamic style of warfare that a largely infantry Polish army could not match. When the Soviets entered the fray, also invading Poland and splitting the country in two, it was too much for an already overstretched army, lacking tanks and air support, to endure—the end was inevitable.

The Poles put up fierce resistance against the two invading forces, even though they were vastly outnumbered in some instances. There were many desperate actions in which the Poles fought the attackers to a standstill, and the stoic infantry held their ground while the dashing Polish cavalry surprised the enemy.

Equipped with Mauser rifles, fine coats, and the usual Polish uniform, warlord sculptor Wojtek brought these heroes to life in full gear, fighting in the early autumn of 1939.
