Bolt Action: Panzer Lehr Squad

The Panzer Lehr Division was formed in 1943 from veterans of the campaigns in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy. These highly experienced troops formed the core of this training and demonstration unit and were considered an elite formation from the outset.

In 1944, the Panzer Lehr Division participated in the invasion of Hungary before being transferred to France to await the Allied invasion of Europe. Unlike other Panzer divisions of the German Wehrmacht, all Panzergrenadiers of the Panzer Lehr Division were mounted on half-track vehicles, making it the only fully mechanized unit in the German army. Furthermore, they were the first to fight alongside the new Tiger II tanks. They also wore a distinctive double-breasted, assault gun-style jacket instead of the standard army field blouse.

The box contains 10 metal Panzer Lehr models and a plastic base.

Models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.
