Panzer III

The Panzer III was one of the most important German tanks between 1940 and 1942. During the Western Campaign and on the Eastern Front, it initially formed the backbone of the Wehrmacht's armored units. The first examples, from 1936, then known as the "Zugführerwagen" (platoon leader's car), were ahead of their time. As the war progressed, its standard armament, the 3.7 cm gun, was replaced by the more powerful 5 cm KwK 38 L/42 and KwK 38 L/60 guns. The later, and final, N variant from 1942/43 was even equipped with the 7.5 cm KwK 37 gun.

This Panzer III kit allows you to assemble the Aust. J, L, M or N variants.
