Based on the experiences of the Wehrmacht on the Eastern Front,
Given that the Soviets were able to field very effective medium and heavy tanks, it was decided to develop a tank that would have excellent armor, speed, and
Powerful weapons were combined. The result was the best medium tank of all sides in the conflict, the Panther.

Despite its heavy armor, especially its frontal armor, which was mostly impenetrable to many Allied weapons, it reached speeds of over 50 km/h. Its real value, however, lay in its highly effective armament. The 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 was even more deadly than the already feared 8.8 cm. This weapon could take out anything, even at long range.

The Panther was produced from 1942 onwards and, alongside the Panzer IV, was the standard main battle tank of the later Panzer forces. It proved to be a difficult-to-deploy
slain opponents on the battlefields of the Second World War.
