Warlords of Erehwon: Oni Ogres

The oni are lumbering creatures with one or more horns sprouting from their monstrous heads and skins brightly colored red, blue, or green. Oni are not simply mortal beings, but demons or malevolent spirits incarnate. Of the four gates to the world, the Kimon (Demon Gate) is guarded by sleepless oni, whose task it is to keep evil spirits out of the mortal realms. The Kimon lies beneath the stars of the Ox and the Tiger—hence, oni have horns like an ox and wear clothing made of tiger skin. They are armed with large iron clubs called kanabo, which are almost as big as they are.

In the Warlords of Erehwon game, the Oni are powerful monsters that wield massive maces and can perform two melee attacks simultaneously. They are large monsters, and their fighting prowess is impressive, making them deadly opponents.
