Prussia was a highly militarised state during the latter stages of the Napoleonic Wars, its very survival depending on the strength of its army. Prussian artillery, whilst not as famous as its infantry or cavalry, nor as numerous as the Landwehr, were a crucial component of the army, providing vital fire support to the troops. ‘Horse’ artillery, composed of highly mobile light guns, was intended to gallop across the battlefield to where it was needed, and often proved crucial in repelling enemy attacks or supporting assaults.

An essential component of any Black Powder force, this 6-pdr is ready to be wheeled into position on your tabletop when it’s needed most!
