M4A3E8 Sherman Easy Eight from Warlord Games

Originally designated the M4A3(76)W HVSS, but later shortened to the M4A3E8 (the E8 standing for HVSS suspension), this medium tank eventually earned the nickname "Easy Eight" from the US soldiers who fought in and alongside it. The Easy Eight featured several improvements over earlier M4 Sherman designs, such as the Horizontal Volute Suspension System (HVSS) and wider tracks for better traction, a welded rather than cast hull for improved protection, and a 76 mm M1A2 main gun capable of competing with German 75 mm guns.

The first Easy Eights were introduced in December 1944, just in time for deployment in the Ardennes Offensive. Although the power of their main gun threatened the Axis medium tanks, it also had to penetrate the rear armor of the heavier German vehicles.

Over 2,500 Easy Eights were produced during World War II, and the design proved so successful that it was also used in the Korean War and even the Vietnam War.

Includes a plastic "Easy Eight" medium tank, a Bolt Action stats card, Bolt Action medal dice, assembly instructions, a colored waterslide decal sheet for US and Canadian vehicles, and damage markers for the vehicles.

The models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.
