It was designed to provide the US armed forces with a powerful and versatile mobile anti-aircraft weapon. It proved extremely effective in this role and was very popular with its crews and commanders. When used against infantry and light vehicles, its effect was predictably devastating!

On the Bolt Action tabletop, the M15 is a good choice for a US armored platoon that needs powerful, rapid-fire weapons.
