KV-85 Heavy Tank from Warlord Games

The KV-85 was a stopgap concept that combined the KV-1S hull with a turret previously developed for the KV-13 "universal tank" concept, and armed with the powerful 85 mm D5-T gun. The KV-85 was designed to address concerns that the well-armored KV-1 lacked the firepower to deal with larger German tanks. It was produced in small numbers but proved to be a dangerous opponent for the Panther and Tiger.

By combining a well-armored chassis with a powerful main gun, the KV-85 is a good choice for any Soviet armored platoon, where it provides a survivable and deadly answer against enemy armor. Deployed in pairs or trios, they can threaten even the largest enemy tanks!

This vehicle can also be used in Achtung Panzer!, the close-quarters tank-versus-tank combat game perfectly suited for duels with the German "big cats" on the Eastern Front. The complete rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.
