HQ Team

Officers in the CCP Army were selected based on their military experience and political ideology. CCP officers did not carry swords like Japanese officers. They had titles, not ranks; for example, Platoon Commander or Company Commander instead of Lieutenant or Captain. There are also models to represent medics and/or observers.

Medium Machine Gun Team

The Type 24 machine gun was a Chinese-made copy of the MG08/15 Maxim machine gun. The Chinese used .30 cal MMGs captured in the USA and produced copies of the .30 cal version.

Medium mortar team

The Chinese had a number of medium mortars in their infantry battalions, typically using the Russian 82 mm model and the Brandt Mle 27/31 (81 mm) medium mortar. The Chinese PVA formed small batteries of three barrels within an infantry battalion weapon group and batteries of six barrels within a battalion mortar group.
