Korean War Ace Pilot: James 'Jabby' Jabara from Warlord Games

James "Jabby" Jabara was America's first pure jet ace. After flying P-51 Mustangs in World War II, Jabara became extremely proficient with the new jets entering service and described his first flight in the F-80 Shooting Star as the happiest moment of his life.

During the Korean War, Jabara's 4th Interceptor Squadron, equipped with the new F-86A Sabre, was deployed to combat the MiG threat. He shot down his first MiG on April 3, 1951, and his fourteenth in July 1953. This, along with his only victory in World War II, earned him the status of a triple ace. Jabara attributed his success to his three A's: flying discipline, aggressiveness, and shooting skills in the air.
