Conflict '47 Tarantula Light Walker by Warlord Games

The tarantula moves across the battlefield on six legs and possesses a variety of deadly weapons that can be used for any task.

The Panzerkampfwagen II Vogelspinne was initially developed as an improved "heavy" variant of the Spine, by adding an extra pair of legs to reduce the wear on the individual bearings that occurred in the earlier design. The added complexity of the drivetrain and gyroscopic system necessitated a significant lengthening of the hull, and the project became known as the Pz.Kpfg. II Vogelspinne. The Vogelspinne retains the Spine's light anti-tank gun and 20 mm autocannon, but in a fully enclosed, armored turret. It also allows for the mounting of a Rift-powered Maschinen Schwere Waffe (Mazda Heavy Weapon) or a twin light anti-aircraft gun.

The Tarantula kit can be assembled with a variety of weapon configurations, allowing you to tailor it to your required role on the battlefield and your specific playstyle – choose from an anti-tank gun, two automatic cannons, a flamethrower, or the machine-heavy gravity pulse weapon, which can be equally devastating against infantry or enemy vehicles if you use the Rift dice carefully. The kit also includes a vehicle commander, but can also be built with the turret hatch closed if desired.

This versatility of weaponry serves the tarantula well in building a Konflikt '47 Axis army. With three pairs of legs and the special "Scout" rule, it will also be difficult to be spotted.
