Conflict '47 Inago Medium Walker

The deployment of USMC Grizzly medium walkers in the Pacific presented the Japanese with a serious tactical problem. Developing a similar medium walker to counter this would have been too time-consuming. Once again, the Imperial leadership turned to its (then) Axis allies, who offered to export a limited number of Pz.Kpfg. VII Heuschrecke without gravity-jump auxiliary modules. Upon inspecting the first units arriving in Japan, the Imperial military determined that the lack of the modules' weight actually benefited the walker's speed and maneuverability, making it ideal for general combat and reconnaissance tasks. More recently, Japanese reverse engineering of the Axis-supplied components enabled the production of an entirely Imperial-built version of the Locust, the "Inago," on the home islands.
