Conflict '47 Firefly Airborne Infantry by Warlord Games

Thanks to American advances in repulsorlift rift technology, a man can glide through the air in great leaps or drop from an aircraft and safely control his descent. This technology has reborn the US Airborne paratroopers as the Fireflies! These elite troops are deployed wherever surgical precision and lightning-fast jumps behind enemy lines or as the vanguard of American attacks are required. Only the bravest and fittest men pass Firefly training, and their missions are among the most dangerous imaginable.

This plastic box contains 18 multi-part US Fireflies equipped with a variety of weapons, including M1X Thompson Rift SMGs, deadly flamethrowers, and anti-tank missile launchers. With additional components such as alternative heads, extra equipment, and a choice of flying or "grounded" legs, this kit offers incredible poseability and almost endless sculpting possibilities. The level of detail on these models is stunning, allowing you to go all out with the painting and create a unit that looks truly impressive on the tabletop.

On the Conflict '47 game board, the Fireflies are among the best special infantry available to an American player. With their excellent tactical mobility, thanks to their Regroup in Hell! Rift ability, and armed with their signature M1X Thompsons, they can go in, hit hard, and get out again. Just make sure you keep these unarmored troops away from anti-infantry weapons!
