Conflict '47 Empire of Japan Type 7 Sasori Light Walker

The success of the Type 6, armed with the light Shiboru cannon, led to the development of the Type 7. This improved upon its predecessor with a lengthened chassis, providing less cramped crew space, and a pair of front-mounted "claws" equally adept at cutting through dense undergrowth and fending off enemy infantry or even other light vehicles. It also featured an articulated tail section specifically designed for the Type 61 light Shiboru cannon, giving the gunner much better control when aiming the weapon. Because the Type 7 resembled an arachnid even more than its predecessor, and was additionally equipped with a stinger at the rear, the walker was inevitably nicknamed "Sasori" ("scorpion").
