Italian Ace Pilot: Furio Niclot Doglio from Warlord Games

Furio Niclot Doglio was a famous pre-war test pilot and held nine world records. He flew in the Battle of Britain before being transferred first to North Africa, where he achieved his first victory, and then to the bombing raid on Malta. There he quickly made a name for himself for his daring head-on attacks, capturing six Spitfires in quick succession. Doglio's luck ran out on July 27, 1942, when he was shot down by Canadian flying ace George Beurling.
