Bolt Action: Hungarian Army Honved Division Section

Although the majority of the infantry forces deployed by the Royal Hungarian Army in 1944-45 were not battle-tested, after three years of fighting on the Eastern Front, some experienced units existed. Infantry divisions of the Hungarian First Army had recently fought in the defense of Galicia in early 1944 and would draw on their experience, such as the 25th Division at the Battle of Tordá and the 10th Division in Budapest.

A Hungarian rifle platoon was not as well-trained in infantry tactics as its German counterparts, nor did it possess their firepower. Although the Magyars had a manpower advantage with three sections of 13 men each, and the issue of modern Panzerfausts gave them a chance against Soviet tanks, something their countrymen did not have on the Don in 1942.
