The aggressive campaigns of the German armed forces around the world ensured that the troops would face the enemy in all kinds of environments and climates. None was more relentless than the harsh winter on the Eastern Front or in the Italian hills and mountains.

The resourceful German Landser (common soldier) often had to make do with little more than their standard issue of wool coat, gloves, scarves and a steely determination not only to ward off the cold, but also to fight and win.

These highly detailed plastic figures are ideal for depicting German infantry (winter) – whether Army or Waffen-SS – in cold weather or deep in bitter winter snow. Weapons, equipment, and headgear allow you to build figures for all periods of the war, from the Blitzkrieg operations of 1939 and 1940 to the deaths of the Third Reich in Berlin in 1945.
