These hardened German veterans are perfectly suited for fighting in the devastated cities of World War II. They are fully equipped with specialized gear and ready for battle!

This starting army provides everything you need to assemble a battle-ready force of German veterans for Bolt Action games. It's based on a rifle platoon with two army infantry squads, supported by an anti-tank rifle team capable of capturing and holding objectives. This forms a strong core to the army, which, with its specialized support platoons, possesses considerable firepower. It's also accompanied by a medic whose intervention can keep your troops in the fight when the going gets tough.

The first platoon is the heavy weapons platoon, equipping the troops with powerful firepower against infantry, provided by two medium machine guns and a medium mortar. It is ideal for establishing defensive positions and supporting attacks, forming a great counterweight to the small but mighty Engineer Platoon. This platoon consists of two engineer squads, each equipped for close-quarters combat and carrying a deadly flamethrower, as well as a separate flamethrower team that burns the enemy out of their positions!

Finally, there is the armored train, which brings both wheels and tracks to the battlefield. The Sd.Kfz 223 command tank boasts excellent mobility and leads the way for the mighty Panzer IV with its deadly and efficient short-barreled howitzer!

With these four units, you get a great core force that can be used immediately on the tabletop and serves as the foundation for a large and versatile collection. Ideal for an army dealing with the fierce fighting at Stalingrad. This force can be built up in numerous different ways to represent dozens of units and is the perfect way to start your collection!
