Black Seas: French Navy 1st Rate

The ships of the 1st rate were extremely large and powerful, a true demonstration of a navy's might. However, they were expensive to operate, limiting their use in peacetime. A ship was defined as a 1st rate vessel with at least 100 guns.

A French Navy 1st Rate ship, if you utilize its national special rules, can be an extremely resilient opponent, potentially turning the tide of battle. French ships have access to the 'robust' upgrade, giving them a significant number of ship points to decimate.

The highly detailed kit comes with optional figureheads (see picture) to really make your 1st Rate stand out. It also includes a ship map, flag sheet, rigging spool, and wake markers.

The miniature(s) in this French Navy 1st Rate set consist of plastic and metal components. They are unpainted and require assembly. Paints, tools, and glue are not included in the box.
