After the defeat against Napoleon in 1806, the Treaty of Tilsit crippled the Prussian army, allowing the once proud nation only a tiny standing force. Despite elaborate efforts to circumvent the treaty's terms, the Prussian army that went to war in the Hundred Days' Campaign consisted largely of volunteer militia.

The poorly equipped and poorly trained infantry and cavalry regiments of the Landwehr compensated for this deficiency through their sheer numbers and determination. Regardless of the Landwehr's quality, the elite Jäger units were still at the forefront of the battle, protecting it and harassing the enemy.

This plastic set contains enough models to field a complete brigade consisting of three Prussian Landwehr regiments of 80 men each, 1 Landwehr cavalry regiment consisting of three cavalry bases, and a 6-pounder battery of 3-cannon horse artillery.

Models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.
