Thousands of cavalrymen accompanied the Prussian army, forming fearsome walls of attacking horse meat. The dragoons formed the heavy cavalry that pounded the enemy, while the more numerous hussars acted as the eyes and ears of the divisions. It was the brave, lance-wielding lancers who came to Blücher's aid at Ligny. Behind them, even ahead of the main army, followed the light infantry of the Jägers, engaged in battle.

While the cavalry searched for the enemy in the distance and attacked targets of opportunity, the 6-pounder horse artillery quickly moved into position to open fire.

This plastic set contains enough models to field a complete brigade of three Prussian cavalry regiments (four bases of hussars, three bases of lancers and four bases of dragoons) together with three bases of skirmishing riflemen and a 6-pounder battery of 3-cannon horse artillery.

Models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.
