Long live the Emperor! This cry was shouted by thousands of proud Frenchmen as "Les Bleus" stormed forward in tight, disciplined columns at the small Belgian town of Waterloo on June 18, 1815. Many of these veterans had served for years with Napoleon and his powerful armies. They were determined to repel Wellington's allied army and march gloriously to Brussels. The infantry columns were screened by hundreds of voltigeurs, light infantry in loose formation, while the allied lines were bombarded from above by massive foot batteries of 6-pounders. Who could stand in their way?

This plastic set contains enough models to form a complete brigade with three French line or light infantry regiments of 80 men each, 24 voltigeurs in action, a 6-pounder battery of foot artillery with 3 guns and a mounted brigade commander.

The models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.
