Cuirassiers, carabiniers, and dragoons were France's heavy fighting force, having proven themselves throughout Europe on every battlefield and against a wide variety of enemies. Well-armed and armored, and intelligently led, these were great men on great horses—two-thirds of them clad in gleaming steel and copper armor that shone in the Belgian sunlight.

Some regiments took their beloved eagle standards to the battlefield as a mark of recognition – we have provided this option for those who wish to display them in all their glory. This plastic set contains enough models to field a full brigade of three French heavy cavalry regiments (four base Cuirassiers, three base Carabiniers, and three base Dragoons) and a 6-pounder battery with three guns.

The models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.
