Warlords of Erehwon: Daimyo & retinue

A daimyo is both a powerful warlord and the leader of a venerable clan. Bitter rivalries fuel centuries-old conflicts between clans, often centered on a real or imagined grievance against a long-deceased ancestor. The most powerful daimyo control vast tracts of land and vie to become the supreme warlord, or shogun. The daimyo are guarded by the bravest and best samurai of the house, the hatamoto (bannermen), who have sworn to give their lives at their lord's command. These skilled and loyal warriors stand by their lord's side and are often the only people granted a private audience with the daimyo.

In the game Warlords of Erehwon, the Daimyo and the Hatamoto have the "stubborn" special rule, which reflects their determination, meaning that each time they receive an order, the unit removes two pin counters instead of just one.
