Capitana Roja is a mercenary captain, meaning she can lead a crew consisting entirely of mercenaries. When she does so, she may be accompanied by pirate tiradoras and matelots. Her blunderbuss is a canister gun capable of firing over a small area at a time.

As a mercenary, she does not fight for the Imperial Armada, the Cult, or the Brotherhood.
