This new campaign expansion for Bolt Action allows players to recreate the historic island battles between US and Imperial Japanese forces in the Pacific of 1944. Even as the Allies stormed the beaches of Normandy, US forces began their own blitzkrieg across the Pacific, engaging in fierce and intense fighting over tiny strips of land against stubborn Japanese defenders.

The battles described relate specifically to the campaigns in the Marianas and Palau Islands, and a number of battles are described in great detail, including those of Saipan, Guam, Peleliu, and Anguar. The fighting during these campaigns was contentious and bloody, and in some cases rivaled the Battle of Stalingrad in sheer inhumanity.

It contains a wealth of scenarios depicting some of the most important battles, presented in a way that forms an extensive campaign. You'll find new units for both the Japanese and the United States (for both the US Army and Marines) and all the special rules you need to play; including, crucially, those for amphibious assaults, entrenched defenders, and tropical hazards, among many others.
