Bolt Action: British & Inter-Allied Commandos

The Commandos earned an extraordinary reputation for their courage and bravery during the Second World War. They were formed in 1940 by order of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill with the express aim of taking up the fight against the seemingly unstoppable German forces that had so easily driven the British Expeditionary Force out of France. This volunteer army was drawn from all branches of the armed forces. There were Army Commandos, Naval Commandos, and the Inter-Allied Commando Regiment, which included nationalities such as Belgians, Poles, Dutch, and others.

Commandos fought in campaigns in Europe, Burma and Africa and were decorated for many famous actions, including arguably the biggest raid of all - St. Nazaire.

The commandos were deployed in many different forms – from units of less than a battalion to entire assault divisions, depending on the task at hand. Superbly trained, aggressive in their tactics, well-equipped, and deadly in close combat, the commandos were rightly feared by their German, Italian, and Japanese adversaries.

The box contains thirty plastic miniatures, bases and decals.

The models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.
