The Vickers machine gun, a faithful companion of the British Armed Forces and the Commonwealth, saw service all over the world, providing effective direct fire support from defensive positions. A veteran of the First World War, the water-cooled Vickers gun was capable of sustained, accurate fire and proved deadly when operated by a skilled crew. The crew of this gun consists of men dressed for winter, ensuring that even the coldest weather will not slow them down.

Medium machine gun teams are one of the core elements of heavy weapon platoons in Bolt Action. They are capable of inflicting heavy losses on enemy infantry in open terrain and holding important defensive positions on the battlefield – a great addition to any British collection.
