Belgian Army Infantry Squad by Warlord Games

As the core of the Belgian army, which in 1940 was supposed to repel the unstoppable advance of the German Blitzkrieg through France and the Netherlands, the infantry force of the Belgian army largely followed the doctrine of static defense from the First World War.

The unit is led by a non-commissioned officer carrying an MP-28 submachine gun. The Browning Fusil-mitrailleur 1930 (FM 30) light machine gun (better known as the "Belgian BAR") serves as the unit's LMG and is carried and operated by one man. The rest of the unit is armed with the Fusil 1889 rifle.
