Dried paint is very difficult to remove, so it's essential to clean your equipment after each use. Airbrush cleaners are ideal for this, allowing you to effectively clean the inside of the airbrush. There are larger cleaners (usually with bristles specifically designed for airbrushes) and smaller ones (like dental cleaners) that can reach even the smallest nooks and crannies.

Modeling chemicals are also useful for cleaning – these are liquids for cleaning airbrushes that dissolve the paint and make it easier to remove from inside the airbrush. The use of solvents and paint removers is not recommended, as they negatively affect the lifespan of the airbrush and its seals.
