It usually consisted of ten men and was divided into separate rifle and Bren groups. Each section was led by a corporal armed with a rifle or pistol and included a lance corporal in charge of the Bren group. All section members except the corporal carried ammunition for the Bren—a total of 700 rounds in 25 magazines. Additionally, all men carried grenades. As the war progressed, additional weapons were acquired. The section leader and/or the second in command were issued Thompson or Sten submachine guns (although these were sometimes quietly "lost" to avoid becoming obvious targets for snipers). Towards the end of the war, many veteran sections had a second Bren added to their equipment, whether or not it was officially part of their issue.

Canadian infantry battalions were organized in the same way as their British counterparts. From 1943 to 1945, due to Canadian practice of using MMGs and HMGs on Universal Carriers, some infantry battalions were also issued spare Bren guns. All three Canadian infantry divisions were trained to conduct amphibious landing operations. Canadians participated in landings at Dieppe, Sicily, Italy, Normandy, Breskens Pocket, and the crossing of the Rhine. The 3rd Canadian Infantry Division conducted so many amphibious attacks that it was nicknamed "The Water Rats" by Field Marshal Montgomery.

The kit is packed with optional extras, including head options for steel helmets, assault helmets and Tam o'shanter caps (for Scottish or Canadian troops), as well as weapons including: Lee Enfield No. 4 rifle, Bren light machine gun, Sten submachine gun, 2-inch light mortar, PIAT anti-tank launcher, Webley service revolver and Mills bombs, additional accessories and command options.

The box contains:
- 30 plastic infantrymen
- Plastic bases
- Assembly instructions
- Full-color waterslide decals for the British and Canadian troops

Models are delivered unassembled and unpainted.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0696/3432/6698/files/122427-british-canadian-army-infantry-1943-45-402011020-1.webp?v=1783199832
